Tara is an associate professor and educator of Midwifery, Nursing, Medical and Nurse Practitioner Students for Universities and Colleges across Ontario. She teaches Breastfeeding classes at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Conestoga College and Ontario Public Health.
Tara received the YWCAs "Women of Distinction Award" in 2012 for the "exceptional contribution she has made to the advancement of women in our community in the field of Science, Technology and Research".
She has been a guest on radio and television broadcasts and a speaker for Community events including Breastfeeding Buddies and Breastfeeding Week.
